What I been thinking on this week:
Are you living?
Yes? To what?
Alive to God, and dead to lust?
Living to self, with Christ afar off.
Never knowing of Love that can redeem the lost.
Are you living?
If yes, then to what?
To pride, passion, and promotion of Us?
“This Us you speak, you mean, there is more than just me?”
Why yes, the inbreed sin……….carnality.
To this you must die, and die complete.
For if to sin you are living, then only death you will meet.
For we must understand, the question is not, “are we living?”
But to whom did we live for? And to what, did we die?
“14 For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead:
15 And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.” – 2 Corinthians 5:14-15
