Condemned by Carnality & Free by Grace

“Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.” – John 16:11

As some of you may or may not know I work in the peanut industry.  Currently, there is a big trial going on at this very moment surrounding a salmonella issue that occurred some years back.  To this point, no verdict has been reached by the jury and the accused has yet to be judged.  However, by the end of September, judgment will be cast and the accused will stand guilty or not guilty.  Whatever the judgment is, that judgment will follow this man for the rest of his life.
Jesus Christ condemned sin in the flesh, the prince of this world (the devil) is and forever will be judged.  There are men and women sitting in prison across this country under a death sentence.  They are existing in this life as condemned.  If they were to break out and flee the country, they are still condemned.  If they were to meet someone and that person says “you are free” it would be a lie, they are still condemned.  Only a judge can loose the sentence of death over their lives, and until that sentence is loosed they exist as condemned.  The devil exists in this world condemned and judged as the enemy of our souls.  He cannot be loosed from this judgment, and he cannot be dolled up or explained away by intelligent men.  Furthermore, those that bare his mark are under the same condemnation that the devil himself faces.  The condemnation is sure and the judgment is just.  When a man or women enters into this world they do so by the strength of man and bring into this world with them the “carnal nature”.  The carnal nature can be simply described as the “want-to” sin.  As a bull dog wishes to tear apart a house cat or a lion wishes to devour an antelope, so the human heart is bent to disobey God.  As important as the carnal nature is far more relevant (perhaps) to you the reader and to all mankind for that matter is what it does.  It causes you to disobey God.  It is the thing that drives you to want drugs, and want to drink, and steal, and want whatever other sin that may cross your path.  It is the thing that drives everyman in this world to sin, you’re not alone in this, and you don’t have to remain in it either.  For he who judged it and condemned it is he who can deliver from it.  Our great deliver is Jesus Christ, Jesus Christ can change your life.
If the Spirit has convicted you and you know that you’re a sinner, note this, you do not have to remain that way.  There is full deliverance, the blood of Jesus can deliver from all sin, purge the curse within, and place in you the right spirit…..the Holy Spirit.  If you are convinced that you are living in sin, please take the utmost urgency to seek God until you find deliverance from it.   Your soul is at stake, your LIFE is at stake.  You need a drastic intervention from God, sin WILL destroy your life.  No man knows how much life is ahead of them and everyman is certain that there is an eternity beyond this life.  Why spend so much time and effort gathering safety for yourself in such an unsafe and uncertain world?  How much rather to seek and store treasures in the certain world to come and never end?  Simply put, you need God to sanctify your heart; set your face to this quest and think on nothing else until you find the experience of sanctification (you will know it when you get it).  It’s not in your power and might, you cannot change your life, but JESUS can.  JESUS can change your life by removing from you heart the curse of sin.  Jesus can free the condemned.
